Margherita Petti Krug Celebrates Five Years with Fingerpaint

July 19,2018

Congratulations to Margherita Petti Krug for celebrating five years with Fingerpaint! Margherita, an invaluable member of the project management team, credits her children with her ability to handle “creative personalities,” a skill the creative team appreciates. To celebrate her five-year anniversary, she is going on a one-month sabbatical this summer to Italy where she plans on nurturing her passion for true Italian pizza and gelato.

Thank you, Margherita, for your hard work and dedication to making Fingerpaint look so good.

Read on to learn more about Margherita and her time with Fingerpaint.

Name: Margherita Petti Krug
Office: Saratoga
Role: Project Management

What do you remember about your first day at Fingerpaint?

I recall how excited I was by the energy in the new building.

What advice would you give yourself/someone starting at Fingerpaint?

I would recommend that anyone joining Fingerpaint set up an auto-deposit to a special savings account to fund their sabbatical. A little bit saved each payday will make it so much easier to do something epic!

What are you hoping to see happen at Fingerpaint? (trampoline in the parking lot, four-day workweeks, etc. – any ideas are welcome)

I’m excited by the idea of a rooftop escape.

What are you going to do on your sabbatical?

Our entire family is going to Italy where we will spend time with my sister and her family, traveling to see parts of the country I’ve never had the chance to visit. My daughter just turned 13 and she is heading there several weeks beforehand with my mother. Then my husband, son, and I will join her. This trip is super special to me because when I was around the same age, my sister and I got to spend the summer in Italy with my grandparents. We are trying to give her a similar opportunity to have an immersive cultural experience. Hopefully, she will put her Italian classes to good use!

For your caffeine fix: Saratoga Coffee Traders or Uncommon Grounds?

I’m an early riser, so I get my fix at home. Plus, that little bit saved went into my sabbatical account, which will now result in pizza, gelato, and prosecco!
