Albany Business Review honors up-and-coming business leaders.
Saratoga Springs, NY—Fingerpaint (https://www.fingerpaint.com), a full-service marketing agency based in Saratoga Springs, New York, is pleased to announce that Kira Karbocus has been named one of the Albany Business Review’s Forty Under 40 award recipients for her commitment to business growth and professional excellence.
“Fingerpaint has been experiencing unprecedented growth, and we would not have grown to $20 million in annual revenue without Kira,” said Ed Mitzen, Fingerpaint founder. “Due to her amazing leadership over finance, HR, IT and operations, Kira has been recently promoted to a level equivalent to the chief operating officer title. Fingerpaint is absolutely blessed to have her.”
After attending Boston University as a finance major, Karbocus spent time as a contract analyst and accounting supervisor/staff accountant for Marshall & Sterling and General Electric. In her spare time, she is involved in rescuing thoroughbreds off of the racetrack and rehabilitating them for new careers. Karbocus also works with various nonprofits, including CANTER New England (Communication Alliance to Network Thoroughbred Ex-Racehorses) and TAKE2 Second Career Thoroughbred Program.
This year’s honorees will be celebrated at reception at the Hilton in Albany, on May 13, 2015.
