Fingerpainter Honored as SmartCEO Brava Award Winner

July 20,2016

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Fingerpaint (fingerpaint.com), a full-service marketing agency with headquarters in Saratoga Springs, New York, announced today that its head of finance and operations has been named a Brava Award winner by SmartCEO magazine. Kira Karbocus is one of 40 distinguished female business leaders in the greater New York area to receive the award.

All of the honorees will be recognized in the July/August issue of SmartCEO magazine and will be celebrated during an awards ceremony July 27th at Hudson Mercantile in New York City.

“Kira has managed our extraordinary growth with both flexibility and smart,” Ed Mitzen, Fingerpaint founder, said. “Fingerpaint has nearly quadrupled in size since she joined our team four years ago. Through it all, she has balanced our desired culture and core values while maintaining our financial success, and that’s no small feat.”

Karbocus was hired in 2012 as the first member of Fingerpaint’s internal finance team. Since, she has built a full finance team that handles corporate controllership duties, financial planning and analysis, as well as all client financials. In addition, Karbocus oversees Fingerpaint’s IT and human resources departments for all of the company’s three locations, and she served as an integral leader for both of Fingerpaint’s mergers and acquisitions in recent years.

“Fingerpaint has certainly matured since its infancy a few years ago, and I’m proud to have been here for some of its most recent and most remarkable milestones,” Karbocus said. “I’m humbled to be included as a Brava Award honoree, among such an impressive class of professional women.”
