The award is given to an agency that trailblazes what an agency of the future should be.
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Fingerpaint, a full-service health and wellness marketing agency with five offices across the country and nearly $80 million in revenue, was presented with the Vision Award during Med Ad News’ 31st Annual Manny Awards for its futuristic view of agency culture.
The Vision Award is selected by the editors of Med Ad News, and it is presented to an agency that is setting in motion radical new standards for agency culture. Fingerpaint was honored for its fierce commitment to its people-first culture and ongoing philosophy of prioritizing empathy over profit.
“Being recognized for the principles that Fingerpaint was built on is an extremely special moment in our agency’s history,” said Ed Mitzen, founder of Fingerpaint. “If you put your people first, the rest will follow. We are humbled to have been nominated along with some of the best in the business.”
Fingerpaint continues to roll out new programs focused on the health and wellness of their people, like partnering with a global behavior-change company that enhances employee well-being.
As the agency expands its services to meet the needs of the biotech and pharmaceutical industries—such as the recent launch of Photo 51, a consultancy focused exclusively on gene and cell therapies—keeping culture top of mind is a must.
“When an organization expands, its culture must grow with it if it wants to attract top talent,” said Mitzen, who recently authored the book More Than a Number, which focuses on the importance of agency culture. “As Fingerpaint develops new services that anticipate the needs of its clients, we are also very careful to keep the people-first foundation Fingerpaint was built on so that we stay consistent in delivering the award-winning services our clients have come to expect from us.”
Fingerpaint continues to serve as a world-wide example in the area of agency culture. Most recently, Mitzen and Michelle Petroff, head of Fingerpaint’s Conshohocken, Pa., office, were tapped to deliver a presentation on the agency’s culture during Advertising Week JAPAC’s virtual conference, which focused on the Asia Pacific region.
The Manny Awards annual event celebrates creative excellence in healthcare advertising and communication. This year’s awards were held virtually.
