“I had recently sold my first advertising agency, Palio, to inVentiv Health in 2006,” Mitzen told the publication. “And I was longing again for the start-up/entrepreneurial spirit of an independent agency, and Fingerpaint became my mulligan. I could take what I loved about my first agency and make it even better. That became the impetus for Fingerpaint.”
He went on to explain the hard work it took to launch Fingerpaint in the early days of the company, and how he wanted to make sure people were at the core of everything the company did.
