SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Fingerpaint (, a full-service marketing agency with headquarters based in Saratoga Springs, New York, has added Alan Zhao to its interactive team. Zhao will be based in the agency’s Saratoga Springs office.

Zhao is a senior software developer who seeks to create optimal appearance and function. A Zend-certified PHP and Framework 1 engineer, he specializes in the development of design elements that support the user interface and user experience. His software solution versatility extends from the conceptual phase to research, development and launch. Zhao is a big believer in the importance of automation, unit testing and code quality control, and transitions with ease among the needs for multiplatform support in the modern age of software development. With more than 10 years of software development experience, his portfolio includes work in e-commerce, system administration, mobile app development, UI/UX and third-party software integration processes. Zhao is versed in the Amazon AWS cloud ecosystem and has a solid grasp of Adobe products. He is also a professional photographer with lighting and editing skills.

Zhao studied computer programming at Manhattan Community College.
