MedThink is a full-service healthcare communications agency with a growing digital team supporting a wide variety of projects for our pharmaceutical clients. We are looking for a talented and motivated Digital Analyst to join our growing team. The Digital Analyst is an analytics expert with approximately 2 years or more of hands-on experience in creating, implementing, reporting, analyzing, and optimizing via insights from digital analytics data and campaigns (Note: Less experienced candidates may apply with exceptional analytic skills). 

 

An analytical thinker with a quantitative orientation, the Digital Analyst should be knowledgeable in clickstream analytics tools, tag management solutions, and demonstrated proficiency in interpreting data to provide actionable insights on behalf of MedThink clients. The Digital Analyst will collaborate with internal and external team members to communicate the value of digital analytics. Matriculation for this position includes Senior Digital Analyst and Manager, Analytics.

Position Requirements

 

Demonstrates behavior expected of a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to:

 

  • Recommend strategic digital analytics approaches to measuring/tracking digital initiatives
  • Create digital analytics implementation plans and collaborate with web development/technology teams to execute
  • Design and implement Multivariate and A/B testing and post-test analysis
  • Consistently manage analytics data collection process and quickly troubleshoots issues as they arise
  • Create analytics reports using analytical tools, Excel, and/or PowerPoint
  • Deliver regular reports that are timely, concise, insightful and meaningful in achieving business goals and objectives
  • Make recommendations for optimizations to improve website/digital/media initiative performance
  • Create competitive intelligence reports as needed
  • Help foster an agency culture focused on discovering business insights and recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date on new analytics/industry trends, tools, and analytics applications and evaluate opportunities for MedThink and clients
    • Assists in promoting and educating agency and clients as to the value of analytics

 

Talent & Knack

 

The candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities

 

  • Analytical thinker, quantitative orientation, and excellent problem solver.
  • 1-3 years of experience developing data pipelines or ETLs
  • 1-3 years of experience in Python, R, or SQL
  • Familiarity with cloud based services (AWS) and Google Big Query
  • Previous experience with API connections is a plus
  • Strong mathematical/statistical/research knowledge
  • Expertise in using/implementing Google Analytics (GA Certified), GA4, Google Tag Manager, and similar tools
  • Proficiency in creating in-depth and insightful analytics reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools such as Datastudio and Tableau
  • Experience implementing, measuring and optimizing the success of digital media campaigns
