We are seeking a director, business development, to help identify and drive revenue opportunities across Fingerpaint companies and offices. This individual, reporting to our lead, business development, will work across the organization to evaluate incoming opportunities and drive the identification and development of cross-selling capabilities with current and potential clients. To excel in this role, this individual should have a hunger to chase and close new business, have an outgoing personality, and enjoy growing teams and winning.

 

Key responsibilities and focus

  • Contribute to and execute new business strategy: Evaluate market research, industry trends, competitive analyses, etc. under the direction of the lead, business development
  • Cultivate new business relationships: Seek out and source new clients by independently identifying and developing relationships with decision-makers as appropriate, including procurement and brand teams
  • Facilitate creation of capabilities presentations to support meetings with procurement and key client decision makers at key client targets
  • Support analysis of business development opportunities, including developing background information for target companies and brands to drive opportunity assessment
  • Independently create bespoke RFI responses with a focus on core capabilities and all-company story while supporting individual offices as needed
  • Drive development of the creation of business development resources and tools: In partnership with corporate marketing, provide core capabilities and case studies that align with business development, as well as other marketing materials as necessary

 

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Assumes at least 7 to 10 years of professional experience in healthcare sale or marketing; ideally 7 to 10 years of pharma industry experience in business development, business strategy, or account services at a healthcare marketing agency or consultancy
  • Strategic thinker with business acumen
