The MedThink SciCom team is seeking a Senior Medical Writer who will be able to efficiently develop high-quality content while managing competing timelines. You will accurately interpret data and provide clear communication to clients and authors and work independently with minimal additional need for training. Experience in therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology, inflammatory diseases, diabetes, and infectious diseases is a plus. Position Requirements


  • PhD in life sciences


  • ≥1.5 years professional scientific medical writing experience; preferably in a scientific communications agency
  • Prior experience with developing publications including scientific manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals 

Position Responsibilities

Demonstrates behavior expected of a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to:

  • Functions within 1 to 3 business units and can manage multiple competing timelines efficiently
  • Independently develop accurate scientific content that is on target with client and project needs in a variety of formats
  • Efficient content development on scope and within budget, with minimal additional training
  • Demonstrable expertise in account and disease state
  • Provide writing support for strategic projects such as publication and medical communication plans
  • Attend scientific/client meetings, present scientific content related to project, and provide pre- and post-meeting materials as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written internal communication (eg, project status) and external communication (eg, clients and authors)
  • Willingness to travel (~10%)
