Position: Account Services Intern


Position Summary


We are looking for an intern who is interested in learning about client management at an advertising agency that serves pharmaceutical brands/products. The intern will be exposed to the process of working in an agency both internally and with clients. The intern will learn about the different types of tactics we work on and get exposure to strategy development/implementation.


We would like the intern to work closely with an account supervisor to get exposure to different types of tactics that can be created to help meet a brand’s overall strategy. The intern will shadow the account supervisor in the day-to-day tasks to understand the strategy behind why we recommend each tactic, and how it gets developed. Building upon this exposure, we would like for the intern to work with all the account leads to create a master tactics library that we can use for pitches and client tactical planning.

Position Requirements

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in business, advertising, marketing, or communications related field; Current Junior or Senior preferred
  • Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)



  • Must be available 30 hours per week, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST
  • Must be available for the entire 10-week program: June 6, 2022 – August 12, 2022
  • This is a REMOTE internship


Please note: we do not offer housing support for out-of-state interns.


Position Responsibilities

Demonstrates behavior expected of a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to:


  • Shadow and assist the account supervisor (as well as other account leads) in day-to-day tasks to understand the strategy behind why we recommend each tactic, and how it gets developed to create a master tactics library that can use for pitches and client tactical planning
  • Supports the account team in day-to-day activities, including, but not limited to:
    • Updating statuses
    • Updating financial documents
    • Filing materials in project folders
    • Review timelines to understand internal project flow
    • Review routes to get exposer to different pharmaceutical brands/products
  • Performs general and administrative work as needed
  • Participates in all summer intern responsibilities, including final internship presentation
