Who You Are:

Fingerpaint is seeking to add a Manager role on our People & Culture team to support the Employee Lifecycle & Careers across the organization. The Manager, P&C is responsible for driving and supporting all programs and practices that support our employee lifecycle. This role will oversee a team that focuses on onboarding, HRIS management & metrics, employee relations, internal mobility, M&A integration, employee engagement, performance management, and employee offboarding. This role should be viewed as a trusted business advisor to the leaders of the business, as well as a trusted colleague to the entire People & Culture team.

What you'll do:

HR Partnership & Leadership:

  • Proactively engages with senior leaders across businesses supported to establish relationships and to build initiatives that meet Fingerpaint-wide HR goals as well as local business objectives.
  • Acts as a senior level business partner to deliver people outcomes aligned with business strategy and drive value for the company, adjusting course as needed to respond to the changing needs of the business
  • Develops relationships (cross functional, cross organizational and across the HR teams) necessary to deliver on our strategic priorities
  • Helps determine and implements appropriate HR programs to grow the entity in alignment with the people & business strategies

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Oversee the onboarding process and program, ensuring we are providing a smooth and engaging employee experience
  • Oversee the offboarding experience, acting as a point of escalation as needed
  • Oversee HRIS management, working with team to conduct data quality audits and ensure data integrity/effective reporting

 

Employee Relations/Employment Law:

  • Provides counsel and advice to employees and managers to ensure appropriate steps are taken with respect to all employee relations issues within the company’s policies and procedures
  • Works with management to resolve any conflicts within management structure or between employee/manager relationships
  • Responsible for overseeing all performance improvement plans including review of all plans and management of timeframes
  • Responsible for partnering with legal counsel on any immigration matters

 

Performance Management & Internal Mobility

  • Manage the performance management process
  • Develop an internal mobility strategy and program to help move talent across the organization
  • Partner with business leaders to build and help navigate career paths within the organization

 

M&A Integration/Process Improvement:

  • Constantly looks for ways to improve the way we use our HRIS, including new functionality and ways of working
  • Provides new ideas for how to restructure HR processes/procedures to be more effective and efficient as we grow
  • Leads the acquisition from a P&C perspective for any new/previously acquired companies
  •  Works with integration team to ensure groups supported are fully integrated into Fingerpaints’ HR processes/practices/systems/etc.

 

Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Works with leaders to ensure retention of high potential talent
  • Drives people change programs effectively and fully through the organization
  • Focuses on driving engagement through our People First employee engagement survey, working with business teams to understand People First survey results and drive action planning

Key Experience & Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Experience with the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, HRIS management & metrics, employee relations, internal mobility, M&A integration, employee engagement, performance management, and employee offboarding
  • Proven ability to forge relationships with senior management
  • Prior experience in M&A preferred
  • Prior experience in professional services industry preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS systems
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving abilities

  • Must be responsive and service oriented
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Must possess leadership attributes and demonstrate HR competence at most senior levels in the organization
  • Must have superb written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to develop and present recommendations/ideas to broad teams in a clear and compelling way
  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
