Overview of the Role:

The Sales Associate is driving force to the Leaderboard business whose key areas of responsibilities are as follows:

  • Establish relationships with new clients and maintaining and nurturing business relationships with existing clients
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective business and new clients
  • Pursue new sales opportunities, gather inbound leads, and follow up with meetings and presentations
  • Responsible for handling a high volume of outbound customer calls and electronic outreach
  • Accurately notating updates to prospective accounts in Leaderboard’s CRM tool
  • Act as trusted advisor to clients and use a consultative-based sales approach with key decision makers in an organization
  • Contribute to the creation of proposals and statements of work
  • Support Leaderboard client teams on project-related tasks and deliverables
  • Support Senior Executive team on new business activities including project scoping and pricing

 Ideal Candidate:

  • Comfortable with all forms of prospective outreach (telephone cold calling, email and LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Energy, enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and demanding targets
  • Strong deal closing and negotiation skills.
  • High level of analytical and organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Great customer service skills, strong business acumen, and problem-solving skills

 Requested Background and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience required. Branding / Advertising experience a big plus.
  • Proven account management or B2B sales or business development experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Well versed in the Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Experience with Hubspot, Pardot or Salesforce (or like tool) needed
  • Online and in-person presentation skills needed
