Fingerpaint is seeking an ambitious paralegal with strong analytical skills and knowledge of corporate organization, governance, and transaction documents and processes. Duties include drafting corporate documents, document management, corporate and securities filings, transaction support, and client interaction.

What it takes:

 

  • Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a high volume of routine contracts, as well as nonstandard agreements, including those relating to corporate, compliance, and international matters
  • Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve legal documents
  • Research and analyze statutes, regulations, and other sources and provide written analysis
  • Analyze client documents regarding various corporate and commercial matters
  • Conduct research on various state and federal laws and regulations
  • Coordinate and support corporate and financing transactions
  • Assist the group leader with the preparation and implementation of the group’s strategic plan and continuous development of the practice group
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of paralegal experience in a corporate setting required
  • Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing with clients and other attorneys and paralegals, both inside and outside the company
  • Must be able to effectively multitask, autonomously manage time-sensitive documents, and utilize exceptional organizational skills
  • Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment
  • Must have excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
  • Must exhibit well-developed interpersonal and client relation skills
  • Must be able to effectively meet deadlines
  • Excellent client service and listening skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work with various levels of the organization
  • Exercises sound independent judgment under minimal direct supervision
