Paid Search Manager

Conshohocken, PA

Fingerpaint’s digital team is looking for a paid search manager to help us develop and optimize paid search accounts for a diverse clientele. This includes managing all aspects of paid search, including structuring campaigns, setting up accounts, keyword research, and campaign optimization across Google and Bing. Additionally, this role will be exposed to and responsible for other digital marketing disciplines and analytics depending upon experience. What it takes:

  • Lead, develop, and oversee paid search campaigns 
  • Expertise in search campaign strategy, management, analysis, and optimization
  • Develop keywords, ad copy, and landing page assignments for campaign success
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize daily budgets, campaign performance, click and conversion rates, return on investment, etc
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in paid search and other relevant digital marketing and conduct search point of views for distribution throughout the agency and to clients
  • Oversee the development of weekly, monthly, and quarterly analytics reports, including performance insights and optimization recommendations
  • Partner with account teams to develop actionable insights that maximize engagement and conversion opportunities
  • Intermediate level understanding of Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, chart building) and PowerPoint
  • Oversee, train, and mentor search associates on search best practices and accounts
  • Collaborate with media, digital strategy, and account teams to evolve client media and search strategies
  • Organize and manage search campaigns to ensure strategic alignment with business and media goals
  • Proactively identify opportunities for optimization, insight, and expansion and see through to implementation

Know-how:

  • 3+ years of hands-on management of paid search accounts
  • Certification in Google Ads and Microsoft (Bing) Advertising
  • Strong understanding of paid search tools, processes, techniques, etc
  • Exceptional analytical ability and critical thinking skills
  • Good to advanced skill level with Excel
  • Proven experience articulating findings (written and in-person)
  • Hands-on experience with analytics (eg, Google Analytics, etc)
  • Experience with search engine optimization is a plus
  • Management experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Google Data Studio, or other data visualization tools is a plus
  • Strong organization and written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
